Our mission is to bring quality jobs and opportunities for the citizens of Polk County through continued growth in new and existing industry and the redevelopment of areas of commercial blight or underuse. More than $100 million in new investments have been made in Polk County in the past 20 years through the efforts of the Development Authority.

The DAPC strives to meet the needs of business at the speed of business. No project has left Polk County because the Development Authority could not respond to their needs.
